Gold Star family from Spec Nicholas P. Berier Visited camp

Fun was had by this Goldstar family at our camp on the weekend of August 3rd,4th and 5th. They Kayaked the length of the 1st Conn. Lake. They successfully did some trout fishing at Perry stream right at the camp. Some went blueberry picking and mushroom gathering in the nearby woods as others went on a guided ATV trail ride and experienced lots of fun. Amongst other things they relaxed and enjoyed large meals and sitting around the outdoor fire etc. We were glad that we could provide this Goldstar Family this opportunity and they expressed their gratitude over and over again.

Pine Grove Lodge Trip

Hello everyone, I took at trip to Pine Grove lodge last week. I did a little predator hunting during the day and night. I harvested a red fox while there.

Here is the view from the 2 different bob house blinds I was hunting in.

I shot the Fox at 110 yards using a 223 rifle. Also had a chance at a big Coyote, my 17 WSM did not perform as intended. Pine grove offers free trips and activities for Veterans, they have been since 1976. Please take the time to view there website. http://www.pinegrovelodge.com/ They are currently in need of some information technology specialist to volunteer with there site, if you are interest call me at 603-724-4234, this would really help them with the veteran program, Thanks all Jim Fraser.
